Sulayman ο·Ί (Solomon) was the son of Dawud. Allah gave him a truly amazing kingdom! One of his gifts was being able to understand and talk to all animals β birds, insects, and every creature!
One day he heard a tiny ant say to all the other ants: O ants β quickly go into your homes! Sulayman's army is coming and they might step on you without meaning to!
Sulayman stopped his whole big army and smiled! He thanked Allah: O my Lord β help me to always be grateful for Your gifts, to do good things that please You, and to put me with Your good servants! π
Look after every creature β even tiny ants! Every living thing matters to Allah. Be kind to animals! π
Allah gave Sulayman control over the wind β it could carry him wherever he wanted to go, covering in one morning what would take a whole month! π¬οΈ
Allah also gave him power over the jinns. They built big buildings, statues, large pools of water, and heavy pots for him.
Sulayman once asked Allah: O my Lord! Forgive me and give me a kingdom that no one after me will ever have β You are the One who gives! And Allah gave him exactly that!
Sulayman used his great kingdom to serve Allah β not to show off! Use whatever gifts you have to serve Allah! π
Sulayman's hoopoe bird brought him news: there was a Queen named Bilqis who ruled a wonderful kingdom but worshipped the sun instead of Allah!
Sulayman sent her a letter: In the name of Allah β do not be proud β come to me in submission!
The Queen came to visit. Sulayman asked his court: Who can bring her throne here before she arrives? A man who had special knowledge said: I will bring it before you can even blink your eye! And there it was!
When Bilqis saw all this and felt Sulayman's wisdom β she said: I submit with Sulayman to Allah, the Lord of the worlds! π
Being kind, wise, and principled can open the hearts of people. Good character is stronger than any argument! ποΈ
Allah also tested Sulayman ο·Ί with a hard trial. Allah says: We tested Sulayman and placed a body on his throne.
Sulayman turned to his Lord with humility: O my Lord! Forgive me and give me a kingdom that no one after me will have β You are the One who gives!
Allah gave him back everything β and more! Allah says Sulayman was an excellent servant β someone who always turned back to Allah.
Even the greatest Prophet-King was tested β and he turned to Allah. That is always the right thing to do.
Even great people are tested! When something hard happens, turn back to Allah and ask for His help. He always responds! π
Sulayman was given the most extraordinary kingdom ever β winds, animals, jinns β all at his command. Yet he always turned to Allah with gratitude. He was an excellent servant who always turned back to his Lord.
