Shu'ayb ﷺ was sent to a group of people called Madyan. These people were traders — but they were cheating! They used wrong scales and wrong weights to steal from their customers. They also blocked roads to stop people from doing good.
Shu'ayb told them clearly and kindly: O my people! Use fair scales and fair weights! Do not steal from people what is theirs! Do not spread bad things on the earth after it has been made good!
He said: I only want to fix things — and my ability comes only from Allah. I trust in Him and I turn to Him!
Always be honest! Never cheat, never steal, never lie. In big things and small things. Allah sees everything! ⚖️
Shu'ayb was also sent to a second group of people called the People of the Forest. They were also cheating and doing wrong things and turning people away from Allah.
They said to Shu'ayb rudely: We do not understand most of what you say and we think you are weak!
Shu'ayb answered calmly: O my people — does my family matter more to you than Allah? You have put Allah behind your backs! My Lord knows everything you do.
A punishment came on those who refused. But Shu'ayb and the believers were completely safe. 🛡️
Put your full trust in Allah and stay calm. When we trust Allah — He takes care of everything! 💛
Shu'ayb told the truth clearly and kindly. He put his full trust in Allah. Allah saved him and the believers while those who refused faced the consequences of their choices.
