Ilyas īˇē (Elijah) was sent to a group of people who had stopped worshipping Allah and were worshipping a false god called Ba'l.
Ilyas stood in front of them and said clearly and bravely: Will you not be careful?! Are you worshipping Ba'l and leaving the best Creator?! Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers from the very beginning!
Most people said no and threatened him. But a small group believed. Ilyas stood firm all by himself â because standing with Allah, even alone, is never truly alone! âĄ
Even if you are the only one doing what is right â stand firm! Being right with Allah is worth more than being popular! âĄ
Even though most people rejected Ilyas, Allah put beautiful words about him in the Quran that will be read until the Last Day:
Peace be upon Ilyas! This is how We reward those who do good â he truly was one of Our believing servants!
Hundreds of millions of Muslims have said peace upon Ilyas when reading the Quran. That is what you get when you do good for Allah â not for people to see, not for likes â just for Allah! â¨
When we do good only for Allah â He gives us the best reward. Not fame and not likes â but being remembered by Allah forever! đ
Ilyas stood alone against a false god and never wavered. Allah honoured him forever in the Quran with these words: Peace be upon Ilyas. That is the reward for doing good only for Allah.
